DOWNTOWN HEALDSBURG ESTATE
At Hue Solstice, we had the pleasure of reimagining this 1923-built home—originally updated in 1964—into a modern retreat while embracing its rich history. Once the residence of Coronel Roderick Matheson’s descendants, we aimed to bring its story into 2024 with a complete staging elevating every room.
Hand-selected furnishings from local artisans give each room a unique warmth. In the dining area, the custom wood table and natural textures create a welcoming atmosphere, accented by rustic wooden beams overhead that honor the home’s heritage. Pieces from nearby art vendors, like the landscape paintings, reflect the serene countryside and add depth and color to the space.
Throughout the home, decor elements thoughtfully placed bring a local touch. The mudroom features a cozy, earth-toned seating nook, perfect for settling into a busy day, while the carefully chosen laundry room art showcases the blend of old-world charm and contemporary functionality. Each room was designed with purpose, reflecting the comfort, character, and charm of the Healdsburg lifestyle.
